Antequera Travel Guide

Situated right in the centre of Andalucia, Antequera has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Some of the most important Roman Villa ruins were discovered in this city. Also known as ‘City of Spires’ Antequera is home to 20 churches. Antequera is famous for its olive oil production. Malaga lies just 40km towards south, which makes Antequera a perfect day tour destination. Some well known attractions of the place include the Arab castle, the White Tower and the municipal museum in the Palacio de Najera.
